TLC Sitters, LLC Policies and Procedures
IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION.
TLC charges a non-refundable registration fee of $125.00 which initiates the services of TLC. There is an annual renewal each January at a charge of $65.00 placed on your credit card on file at your request. Upon registration, a packet will be mailed to you including emergency forms for you to use with your Caregiver(s). Please take the time to read this material.
The agency charges a per day referral fee for each day or each time a Caregiver is scheduled and referred by TLC. Please see the enclosed rate schedule. If you are in need of emergency, or last minute service with four or less hours of notice, TLC does charge a slightly higher referral fee. TLC’s cancellation policy is as follows: Once a request is made with TLC and confirmation has been made that a Caregiver has been scheduled to help you, TLC’s referral fee is non-refundable. If ample time has been given to cancel out the Caregiver no monies will be due the Caregiver. However, if cancellation occurs with two or less hours notice and the Caregiver arrives at your home, the Caregiver would be paid at a minimum of four hours.
If you wish to interview a Caregiver prior to her scheduled appointment with you, a $30 interview fee is to be paid directly to the Caregiver by you. TLC charges a $17 referral fee for arranging an interview and you must be a registered client with TLC in order to have an interview arranged.
If transporting is required and the Caregivers are to use their personal automobile, a mileage fee of .55 cents per mile will be added to the Caregivers fee.
Caregivers may not give out their telephone number, however, they can be contacted through TLC for requests, changes in a schedule such as the time, etc.
TLC’s office hours are 9:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday, however, staff is on call after and before hours each weekday and on the weekends for last-minute or emergency service and can be reached by calling 770-354-7178. If you do not have an immediate need and call after hours you may leave a voice mail message at 770-410-4774 and your call will be returned the following work day between the hours of 9:00 a.m.- 4:30 p.m.
